Meeting on Drafting the Memorandum of Understanding on Academic Collaboration Between ASEAN Studies Center, College of Dhammatuta, and Asian Studies Institute, Kyoto University, Japan
On August 15, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr., Surasak Pajantaseno, Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs , Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU), presided over a pivotal meeting to finalize the approval of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between ASEAN Studies Centre (ASC), Dhammatuta College, and Centre of Asian Studies, Kyoto University.
This MOU represents a significant advancement in academic and cultural collaboration among these three distinguished institutions. The agreement is designed to foster shared research initiatives, facilitate educational exchanges, and deepen the understanding of Asian studies and Dhammatuta across diverse cultural contexts.
The collaboration is expected to enhance the global academic networks of all three institutions which is positioning as leading academic centers in ASEAN region and contribute meaningfully to the global discourse on Asian studies and Buddhism.
